Pacific coast kayaks can provide training and instruction for those wishing to take up sea kayaking for recreation and as a competitive sport or for those wanting to improve their technical skills.

We offer instruction in the following areas:

  • Stroke development
  • Rescues-self and assisted
  • Towing
  • Surfing skills
  • Equipment use
  • Weather and safety
  • Expedition planning
 Paddle Training

Our Rates:

$35 per hour per person.
Please enquire about our group rates.

  • Day rates can apply for some groups – please enquire
  • Courses can be planned by request
  • Transport cost can apply to instruction but are usually minimal
    as we have excellent local sites suitable
